What is a virtual call?

Using Google Hangouts, we can offer you a one-way or two-way video conversation. This means that while we would always love to see you, you don’t have to be on camera.

Will I see a presentation of the car I’m interested in?

Even though our showrooms remain closed for the time being, we have a wide selection of online tools to help you get the most relevant information about the model you’re interested in.

Do I need to install an app or programme on my phone/tablet/computer?

If you’re joining via a PC/Mac or laptop, just head over to the Meet homepage.

If you’re using your phone or tablet, please see the technical section below on how to download Google Hangouts Meet.

Remember, you don’t need to have or enable your camera.

Can I use my current phone/tablet/mobile?

If your smart device isn’t older than five or so years, you’ll probably be ok. There are a few things to consider:

• You’ll need to be connected to the internet
• If you’d like to have a two-way video chat, you’d need an integrated webcam or external USB camera for the PC / laptop, or use your mobile device’s camera
• Have a modern operating system (macOS, iOS, iPadOS, Windows or Chrome OS, among many)
• A modern browser (for example, Chrome, Firefox, Edge, Safari)

Allow Hangouts Meet to use the camera and microphone using:

Before you can use Hangouts Meet in full, you have to allow the programme to access your computer’s camera and microphone.

Allow Hangouts Meet access to your camera and microphone the first time you use it:

• Go to the Meet homepage.
• Click Start New Meeting.
• Click Allow.

Change settings to allow Hangouts Meet access:

If you are not prompted for access or if you had previously blocked access, you can change these settings.

• Go to the Meet homepage.
• Click Start New Meeting.
• Click on "Camera blocked" in the top right corner .
• Click https://Meet.google.com to always allow camera and microphone access.
• Click Done. The connection to the video conference is established automatically. If the meeting is not updated, exit and join again.

Use of Hangouts Meet via smartphone:

Android app

Via the Google PlayStore you can download the app free of charge and register with your existing Google email address (which you also use for the PlayStore). When you tap on the meeting link, the app will open automatically.

To use the free Hangouts Meet app you have to create a free Google email address in advance. Use this email address to log in to the app. When you tap on the meeting link, the app will open automatically.
