With Abarth 500e and its Connected Infotainment System, even long journeys are a breeze. The software automatically plans your ideal route, with stops for charging. And, thanks to the 85kw fast charging capability*, you can top up to 80% range in only 35 minutes, and up to 25 miles in just 5 minutes.

*You can obtain 15-80% of the vehicle charge in 35 minutes from a 100kw rapid charging station. The vehicle will rapid charge at a rate of up to 85W, depending on the power of a rapid charging station used and will take longer to charge at a lower power.

The speed factor
When highway driving at 81 mph (where legally permitted), at constant speed, the range of a 100% electric vehicle is almost halved compared to that of the WLTP cycle. Meanwhile, at constant urban driving speeds, the range can be extended beyond the WLTP cycle.

Driving habits matter
Smooth acceleration and gentle use of braking reduces energy consumption, whilst the one-pedal drive function maximizes the regenerative braking effect. Combined, these can help optimize range by 15%-20%.

Warming and cooling
Using the car’s air conditioning can reduce potential range by up to 40%. Pre-conditioning the car’s cabin temperature to a comfortable 21 ̊ when it is still plugged in is very effective in improving range and is a way of managing vehicle charging time more efficiently.
